Q.お笑いの スタイルを変えるべきでしょうか。

「なんばグランド花月」で行われた関西支社主催のかもめ塾に、
プロの吉本芸人に混じって僕も出場しました。関東出身の僕は
シュールな笑いを取り入れた漫才が得意なのですが、奥が深す
ぎるのか万人ウケしません。体を使うベタな分かりやすいコン
トの方が圧倒的に人気でした。来年もステージに立ち、できれ
ば優勝したいと思うのですが、 自分のスタイルを貫くべきか、
もっと観客の笑いが取れるように芸風を変えるべきか悩んでい
ます。

＜回答＞
先月のかもめにも取り上げられていたが、
「なんばグランド花月」で漫才をするお前は
まさにリクルートが誇る漫才界期待の星だぜ。
そんなお前が芸に迷いがあってはいけないぜ。
アドバイスするぜ、
熱いぜ！！

●お前の芸風にこだわれ！
過去のＭ１グランプリ優勝者を振り返ってみて、
優勝している芸人は必ずしも万人ウケする芸風でないことが分かるぜ。
特に０７年優勝の「サンドウィッチマン」は
万人ウケでなく玄人ウケする芸風であり、
お前が目指すべき芸人だと考えるぜ。
芸事は万人に受けることなど有り得ないぜ。
要するにお前はお前が得意とするシュールな笑いに
磨きをかけてサンドウィッチマンと勝負してほしいぜ！
８０年代のリクルートには多くの社内芸人がいたぜ。
その中でも俺のイチ押しの人は
「てんとう虫のサンバ」で有名なチェリッシュの元リードギタリストで
現在は「アントニオ猪木のカレーパン」など
様々な人気弁当のプロデューサーである
東正任さんだぜ。
東さんは音楽の才能を発揮し
「Ｗｅ Ａｒｅ Ｔｈｅ Ｗｏｒｌｄ」のパロディーソング
「Ｗｅ Ａｒｅ Ｔｈｅ ＪＪ（住宅情報）」を企画し、
読売住宅案内との熾烈な生き残り合戦の
事業部モチベーションを演出したぜ！
自慢ではないが
俺もリクルート事件で沈んだ社内をイカすバンド天国（イカ天）に
「平成のクレイジーキャッツ」をテーマに
ズッコケロックで出場し一躍社内有名人になったぜ。
東さんにも俺にも共通していることは
万人ウケを狙ったわけではなく、
自分がスタイルを貫いて表現したことにあるぜ。
お前も迷うことはないぜ。
お前のスタイルを貫き、
もっとリクルート関西支社を元気な組織へと導いてほしいぜ。
